A year and a half has gone by too fast. I’m so grateful for serving an honorable full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I came home on December 30, 2014. It truly has been one of the best times of my life. When I returned home from my mission it was awkward and so weird. Let’s be honest coming home it was never really the same! First off, I was a changed person. I didn’t have the same wants, desires, dreams, or goals in life. Coming home my family decided to move out of our home. We lived in Othello for over 5 years. Now we lived in a small home in the city of Moses Lake. Yup, that meant no farming close by, having neighbors right next door, and sharing a homecoming talk a ward you don’t know. Let just say I gave my homecoming talk 3 times within 2 months. (Othello ward, Moses Lake 3rd ward and Singles Ward) After giving my homecoming talks I finally decided to go to the Singles Ward. I didn’t enjoy it. Thankfully I had my girl friends at the Pathway Program so I just hangout with them. Kortney, Rebecca, Karlee, Charlie, Mary, and Julianne were pretty awesome. We had a blast in the Singles Ward.
